The ATC Boosters welcome parents to join the booster organization by participating in one or more teams. These teams are crucial to effecting the programs that are established by the Theater Company. They are categorized in a manner that will help you decide which teams better suit you personality.

Food Team: To plan, purchase/prepare, serve and clean up for any meals that are needed for the Company. The food team will be given a budget and they have all decision making authority. If you want a say in what the kids eat, join this team.

Accommodations Team: In the event of Company travel, this team needs to plan, reserve, make room assignments, and make sure payment is made. Select company members may be on this team to help with room assignments. The team will bring their recommendations to the Boosters at a regularly scheduled meeting to be voted upon. Team members do not all need to be chaperones, and chaperones don’t need to be on the accommodations team, but the team needs to coordinate recruiting the chaperones. If you want to have a good time and experience the essence of the ATC, be a chaperone at least once a season.

Transportation Team: To plan Company transportation, whether by bus or car. This team will make a recommendation to Boosters at a regularly scheduled meeting about costs and options, and then voted on. If car transportation is decided upon, they must secure commitments from drivers prior to event and insure that all drivers have up to date insurance. This is a unique opportunity to see what the students are up to… you never know what you will hear in the car.

Workshop/Mentor Team: In coordination with the director, identify skill needs, plan workshops and seek out mentors, where needed, for the different crews. This team needs to be flexible, to meet the changing needs of the Company. You don’t have to have a specific skill, just an ability to find and coordinate with someone who does. This company needs guidance from experienced individuals, but they don’t need someone to do all the work. If you can take a little teen attitude with grace and dignity, this may be the spot for you.

Flower/Raffle Team: To coordinate the purchase and sale of flowers and raffle tickets at the performances. Scholarships are paid with the proceeds of these sales. The more proceeds, the bigger the scholarships!

State Host Team: To plan and coordinate the food service needs of the MIFA State Festival. As this is a major fundraiser for the ATC, it needs to be well coordinated. Responsibilities include the purchase/preparation, serving and clean up for two days of festival of light breakfast items, a full lunch menu, and a multitude of snacks. Let’s be honest. This is a great deal of work, but you really get to know your fellow boosters and you get to see some great shows by very talented teens. No one should have to work the whole two days if everything is planned well.

Fundraiser Team: To brainstorm with the help of the ATC Board and offer assistance to put together at least one other major fundraiser for the ATC. This is one of the most flexible teams, as there are no preconceived ideas of what to do.
